Oh, the joys of moving...

I'll admit, it's my first time really moving (after all, moving into one room in a college dorm doesn't really count...) and therefore I'm really organized (*coughNOTcough*). Naturally, I bought the most important items—like a coffee machine and a bottle opener—and kinda forgot about some minor things like... a dresser, for example.

But hey, who needs a dresser if they have an entire room to fit clothes in? Well, yeah, I know now I still need some place to put them. 🤣🤣

Anyway, I got a new washing machine and was super excited (yes, adulating is THAt awesome) and naturally wanted to wash my new towels with it. Guess what? It didn't work although it was set up by such a nice and capable man! The water wasn't drained and yeah, the dry-spinning didn't work. Yesterday I wasn't in the mood to deal with it (yeah, I'm not that grown up, okay? I pouted.) and left my new apartment to go home rather frustrated.

So, as you all are aware, it's Sunday today (news, I know. xD) and I figured all the guys I could call up to help me would only go all macho on me and make stupid comments. Nope, wasn't going to do that.

I know, I know, not all things we should do by ourselves, but I won't lie, I want to make it by myself and I knew some ways I could try to make it work.

Boy, I never realized what it meant to basically throw your whole body on a washing machine while it was dry-spinning. At least I feel very light now. And my hands tickle as if they'd fallen asleep and just now woke up. The machine needs adjusting again. But what can I say? I did it by myself.

I.

Did.

It.

By.

Myself.

I feel super accomplished and now will sit down to write some words and feel even more accomplished. I'd say it's a good Sunday. Besides that, I'll talk to people I love, listen to music, and count my blessings.

My apartment is nowhere near finished, but hey, little by little I'm getting there. It's going to be awesome, I just know it. <3

Until next week. Have a great week and for those who'll celebrate Thanksgiving, have some food for me.

Love,

Sam
